[Audio Review] - Time Untime by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Title: Time Untime
Author: Sherrilyn Kenyon
Narrator: Holter Graham
Series: Dark-Hunter/Hellchaser
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: August 7, 2012

I received this book from Macmillan Audio, in exchange for a honest review.

Summary:  Kateri Avani has been plagued her entire life with dreams she doesn’t understand. Images of places she’s never been and of a man she’s never seen. Her quest for answers has driven her to Las Vegas where she hopes to finally silence the demons in her mind.

What she never anticipates is coming face to face with the warrior who has haunted her her entire life.

Ren Waya came back from the dead to keep the prophecy he began from coming true and ending the world. For thousands of years, he has fought the same evil that once possessed him. But now that evil has brought back the one person he can’t fight. The one person who once held the most sacred part of him. His heart.

But if he doesn’t kill Kateri, the deadliest of evils will reemerge and destroy everyone else on the planet. It was a sacrifice he made once. Will he be able to make it again?

Thoughts: Apocalypse Now!  Ren Waya has come back from the dead to stop a prophecy - one of his own. To do so he must kill the one person he can't. His love Kateri Avani.

I loved Ren & Kateri's story. It definitely has a different feel to it - compared to the New Orleans stories. But altogether an exciting tale with characters (loved seeing Talon again) showing up from previous books. Time Untime is fresh, action packed with great romantic elements.  For me this series never gets old, this is book number 17 in the series and it's still a joy to spend time in Ms. Kenyon's Dark-Hunter world.

Time Untime is narrated by Holter Graham. It took me a while to take a liking to his voice, but I'm loving it now.  He does an excellent job, hopefully Mr. Graham will continue to narrate the Dark-Hunter books.

***Before reading Time Untime I would suggest reading Retribution first.

  1. I'm glad you enjoyed this! I wasn't the biggest fan of Retribution (mostly because of the heroine, not Sundown), but I'm hoping this one will be better. Thanks for the great review!

    1. The heroine in Retribution wasn't my favorite either. But Kateri is pretty cool. :)

  2. Why must you tease me with this? LOL...down to two more review books and then this series is getting read!

    1. Hehe! Looking forward to hear what you think.

  3. I've only read one of her books and didn't love it but I know that so many people love her work. This sounds good so maybe I'll give this series a try.
