You might also enjoy Jess Granger's forthcoming book BEYOND THE RAIN (Berkely, August)

If you want more after that, I recommend checking out Catherine Asaro's SUNRISE ALLEY and its sequel ALPHA. Asaro mixes in slightly more hard SF than Sinclair but still very romantic. Especially ALPHA--blew me away.

Brockmann writes military/suspense/action adventure romance--not SFR but mainly my point was Sinclair's work has many of the same elements.Heather Masseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00913459109753829391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5077958827403135311.post-12044615385158970792009-07-15T23:05:18.788-05:002009-07-15T23:05:18.788-05:00Thanks Frances!
Hi Heather...

I think the first book I read in that genre is Aguirre's Grimspace.

I love Finders Keepers, so I'm looking forward to read the other books. I'm stickler for reading order.

I have heard of Suzanne Brockmann, but haven't read any of her stuff.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03199090871816032532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5077958827403135311.post-89365423947090402662009-07-15T20:27:14.554-05:002009-07-15T20:27:14.554-05:00Thanks for reviewing FINDERS KEEPERS, and for expe...Thanks for reviewing FINDERS KEEPERS, and for experimenting with an SFR author new to you. Imho, it's a great place to start for romance readers new to Linnea Sinclair.

What I like about her stories is that they include a lot of action adventure in addition to the SF and romance elements (if you're a fan of Suzanne Brockmann, chances are you'll enjoy Sinclair's work).

It helps to read the Dock Five books in order. *shameless plug alert* I loved, *loved* her latest one, HOPE'S FOLLY. Philip Guthrie is a hero full of awesomesauce.Heather Masseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00913459109753829391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5077958827403135311.post-18425051422517295202009-07-15T18:07:44.682-05:002009-07-15T18:07:44.682-05:00Great review Anna. I'd like to keep all of her characters for my best friends. The things that I really like are that her men are sweethearts, and her women are smart with senses of humor. One would have to be a real crab to make it through one of her books without breaking a grin. :-)Franceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08340332869249455215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5077958827403135311.post-80901959971706813362009-07-15T10:09:12.460-05:002009-07-15T10:09:12.460-05:00I have loved the books I have read so far by Linne...I have loved the books I have read so far by Linnea Sinclair. The hero in Games of Command is my all time favorite hero of ANY romance I have ever read. The Dock 5 series that she has (and should be read in order) is Gabriel's Ghost, Shades of Dark (same hero/heroine from GG), and the newest is Hope's Folly.
As for the covers, they've all been redesigned to be similar for the author, not for a series. Note: if you can find the original cover of Games of Command, the cat is Daq (who just passed last month) and is who the "furzel" Tank in the book is based off.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15964141947986162883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5077958827403135311.post-78394373347363875642009-07-15T07:52:41.758-05:002009-07-15T07:52:41.758-05:00Hi Anna!
