Everytime I have a contest I try use a different way of picking a winner. This time I used Random.org , it's a handy site to use when your bored with picking a name out of hat. :)My thoughts on One Silent Night: I really enjoyed this book, which really surprised me. For most of the Dark-Hunter series Stryker was/is the bad guy and I wasn't sure I'd like this book because of him. But I did and it was interesting to find out more about his past. Stryker and Zephyra are what made the book great. I love Zephyra is kick ass and doesn't take shit from anyone. I don't think there has been a character in this series like that since Tabitha Devereaux. There were quite a few surprise along the way, I'm really looking forward to see how the series is gonna change.
I did too enjoy this one. I liked Stryker :). It was nice to see he had a compassionate side and that he feels emotional pain. The twists she threw into this one were nice touches. It is going to be interesting to see how the series changes now.

ReplyDeleteIt was great seeing that he cared for something other than the demise of Acheron and the Dark-Hunters. By the end of the book he's very likable.

Oh I have such mixed feelings about this one - it's good to see that you liked it. I just don't want to feel anything but contempt for Stryker - is that bad? lol It's good to see that you liked it Anna.

Well Stryker is bad there is no doubt about that. But there is a good part in him too, even though he probably wouldn't admit to it.
ReplyDeleteIn the book you find out he has good reasons to be piss off as he is. I just think he aims his vengence(mainly at Ash) at the wrong people.

ReplyDeleteWhich is a good thing because it is my favorite series of all time!!! I love the were-hunter side the best - Vane and Bride are my favorite characters. And to think, the reason I found this series is because I was bored one day and picked a random book off my sister's bookshelf (she has three book shelves all stacked three rows back) - the book was Kyrian's story (Night Pleasures)- I was hooked from then on and went out and bought my own collection - even though my sister and I are roommates! :) I Love Sherrilyn Kenyon!!! - Sha
