This past week I finished listening the audiobook of Revealed by the Cast's. I finally finished the first Compendium in The Walking Dead graphic novels. Excellent read. Definitely different from the series, but so worth reading. Also this week I started reading Guardian Demon by Meljean Brook.

This past week I have finished Lethal Rider by Larissa Ione and started the next one in the series Rogue Rider.  Loving this series and looking forward to reading Reaver!

Movies/Trailers
Thursday I went and seen The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. After the disappointment of Beautiful Creatures I didn't want to get my hopes up too much. But it turned out to be a good film, sticking close to the book. I especially enjoyed the action scenes. I know there are haters of the movie out there already, but I think most fans will be pleased.

I also went and seen Lee Daniels' The Butler. This was such a moving film. Excellent! Definitely go and see it if you get the chance.

In Reading
This week I have been reading Roaring Midnight by Colleen Gleason, this is the latest book in Gardella Vampire Chronicles, featuring Macey Gardella - set in Chicago 1925.  It's been a bit slow going, but I have been really enjoying it. I loved the Victoria Gardella stories, so I'm glad there is some new stories.

My obsession this week was Hemlock Grove. It premiered last week on Netflix. All 13 episodes are available now.  Absolutely intriguing, I loved it It has small town secrets, vampires, werewolves. It's quite gory, but if you love that stuff your gonna love the show. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it gets a second season.  Hemlock Grove is based on a book with the same name by Brian McGreevy.

I went and seen Beautiful Creatures yesterday. I loved it, but at the same time I was a bit disappointed at how they changed things and left stuff out... but it's Hollywood what can you do.  For me the book is the better format.


The Host - This is the next movie I plan to go see. I loved the book and so far the trailers are looking good.

• I didn't receive any books this week, sad I know. So, here I am
  with a Weekly Rewind. Which I'll be doing from now on when no books come in.
• Finished my Christmas shopping and wrapped them. Along with wrapping
  most of my mom's presents too. I'm still sane ... mostly. :)
• Finished watching The Walking Dead Seasons 1-3. I'm totally hooked
  and can't wait till February.

In Reading

• For the last week or so I have been reading (or trying to)  King of the Dead by Joseph Nassise, but I'm having a bit of trouble getting into it. So, I have set it down for a while.. I'll come back to it at a later time.
• I'm also reading Let it Bleed by Jeri Smith-Ready. It's #3.5 in the WVMP Radio series. I forgot how much I enjoy this series.
