Damn, Walmart!

I had planned not to buy any books this month, since I pre-order most of the ones on my list. You can see below how well that worked out. Walmart is to blame, usually they suck at getting new releases out. :P

  6. Damned if they do, and damned if they don't!! LOL!

I actually got a book at the library today! I feel so proud that I didn't buy it :)! But if I like it, then I will. It's a Neil Gaiman book and I wanted to read it first, you know? make sure I like it.

  8. Oh please, my WalMart is THE WORST! The book section is horrible. I barely buy anything from there.

    Brooke...
I don't leave a store without looking at the book section. Even if I just been book shopping. LOL!

    Barbara...
Just imagine having Walmart as your only source of books, besides the internet. I have go about 60 miles to find a real bookstore.

    :D

  11. Anna,

I think I may have told you that they are remodeling my Wal-Mart, well today I saw the new book section. I wanted to cry. It is half the size of the previous section and so far - no new books. The sign at the front of the store says we have 33 more days until the remodel is complete. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. LOL

    Enjoy your new books. :)

  13. LOL. Did I help you chose Pamela Palmer's book? Hehe. You have some goodies up there! Now I got to check out those others! With my hubby having the car now with work and getting late, I can't go jump in the car and go to walmart myself right now, LOL

  14. Walmartcan be tricky. I'm surprised I was able to find True Blood there well online anyway for a much cheaper price so I'm glad I waited on that. I haven't been there in a while so I have no clue what's going on there. Good thing I'm not close enough to the Super Walmart.

  15. Michelle,

I remember you telling me about your store going through a remodel. I have been to one remodeled store. The good part was that the book section was expanded a a little, the bad news is they put it in the back of store. That is just so wrong.

    Caffey...

Yep, I did see your review. Plus there was a wonderful ad in the RT Magazine for the series. Had to get it to at least give it a try. :)
