In My Mailbox [13]

Here's what I got this past week...

I finished reading this one a few days ago. I loved every bit of it. I can't wait
till my copy of Faefever arrives. :)

Book Description:
Mackayla Lane's ordinary life underwent a complete makeover when she landed on Ireland's shores and was plunged into a dark, deadly realm unlike any she ever imagined. In her fight to stay alive, Mac must find the Sinsar Dubh—a million-year old book of the blackest magic imaginable that holds the key to power over both the worlds of Fae and Man. Pursued by Fae assassins, surrounded by mysterious figures she knows she cannot trust, Mac finds herself torn between two deadly and irresistible men: V'lane, the insatiable Fae, who can turn sensual arousal into an obsession for any woman; and the ever-inscrutable Jericho Barrons, a man as alluring as he is mysterious.
For centuries, the shadowy realm of the Fae has coexisted with that of humans. Now the walls between the two are coming down, and Mac is the only thing that stands between them...

I won this book over at There's No Such Thing As Too Many Books. Thanks Blanche!

Book Description:

Kelsey Howard is happy with the single life. She has friends, a job tending bar, a nice apartment, and the freedom to enjoy wild sex games with strangers- the riskier the better. But what she really wants is love.

Then Kelsey realizes she's got a voyeuristic neighbor watching her every move-and every move she makes is arousing them both. Not only is she not scared, she thinks she may have found her soul mate. Especially when she meets the mystery man in the flesh. That's when the fun really starts, and Kelsey realizes just how far she's prepared to go for love.

Book Description:

531 a.d.: The tiny island of Kell is said to be enchanted, inhabited by an extraordinary creature who comforts shipwrecked sailors passing into the next world. Prince Aedan of the Isles believes in no such nonsense—until he awakens on Kell itself and meets the sensuous siren who rescued him from the sea.

1721: Ronan MacMhuirich, Earl of Kell, is the target of an unlikely assassin: Leila, a mysterious woman from an exotic land. But his irresistibly beautiful would-be slayer is in just as much danger as Ronan when she falls for this man with a magic of his own.

2004: What do you do when you inherit a Scottish island you never knew existed—and find yourself pursued by a handsome stranger who wants to buy it from you? That’s what happens to Ruri Kell when she accepts Iain MacInnes’s invitation to visit her birthright, and listens to a proposition as sinfully tempting as everything else about him.

  1. My friend Lisa looooves Moning's series. I'll have to read it one day. ;D

I featured you in my Follow Friday post today :)

  2. I just finished Darkfever. I liked it. And I'll read the next one, but it wasn't super great for me. It was definitely interesting.

  3. Thanks Brooke, I'll check it out.

AmyC, I'm glad you liked it. :)

  4. Nice selection of books Anna. I've not heard of anyone not liking the Moning series yet!

That Sasha White book sound good too.

    You enjoy

  5. Anna,

I really enjoyed the KMM series. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it so far as well.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  6. Thanks Michelle, Hope you have a good weekend too. :)

  7. I've only read the first book in Moning's Fae series (ducks). I just never bought the second one, so I fell behind in the series. But it wasn't because I didn't love it-- I did!-- and I do plan on buying the rest of them ASAP to read. ;)

The Last Mermaid sounds like it should be good... *SIGH* Yet another one to go on my list! ;)

    Enjoy your weekend!

  8. Oooh Shana Abe's cover is beautiful!

    Happy Reading, Anna!

  9. I am really liking that last one :D
    But all sure sounds great

  10. I have Shana Abe's The Last Mermaid on my TBR pile! I love Abe's writing style. Her Drakon series is very popular and I do love it dearly, but I've also read Intimate Enemies by her and absolutely loved it as well. I still think about it now and then and I read it almost three years ago.

  11. Sounds good - nice choices in books! The first sounds like a read I would enjoy.

  12. I have the first in KMM's series so I'm definitley looking forward to starting it.

The other two books sound really good! I had to add them =)
