[Review] - Mr. Darcy's Diary

Title: Mr. Darcy's Diary
Author: Amanda Grange
Genre: Historical Romance
Year: 2007

Summary: The only place Darcy could share is innermost feelings...

...was in the private pages of his diary...Torn between his sense of duty to his family name and his growing passion for Elizabeth Bennet, all he can do is struggle not to fall in love. A skillfully and graceful imagining of the hero's point of view in one of the most beloved and enduring loves stories of all time.

Thoughts: Mr. Darcy's Diary is a re-telling of Pride and Prejudice. Written in diary format and from Mr. Darcy's point of view. The reader gets insight to Darcy's deepest feelings about Elizabeth and more. Why he thinks and acts the way he does. Being an Austen fan, I highly enjoyed this book. It's almost as good as the original. I found it very entertaining and insightful.

Score: 4 Stars

  8. I've never finished anything by Jane Austen before but I'm a little surprised at the recent influx of stories based on her books and characters. There are SO many of them lately. I'm glad you enjoyed this though.
