I'll admit to eating while reading but ninety-nine percent of the books I get are from the library. For my books I do it less and tend to be more careful about that. I'm harder on the library books so I usually lay them open but my books get some sort of a bookmark. If the chapter isn't going to be ending soon I'll just with a period instead.

I'm forever recommending Kristen Cashore too. Thus far I've only managed to convince a couple of people to read GRACELING, but I'll persevere. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm picky with my shelving too. I have all the paperbacks together. Then the hardcovers and trade paperbacks on another shelf.
For my love of organizing I don't organize much..perhaps cos I have barely any shelves

ReplyDeleteI try to use bookmarks but I usually misplace them. How I do this? Who knows? So I will use receipts, napkins, clothing tags, well pretty much any loose piece of paper close to me.
