Brina Chattan has has defied convention. She sees no reason to be docile now that she's been captured by a powerful laird and taken to his storm-tossed castle in the Highlands, far from her home. When a rival laird's interference nearly tears them apart, Connor discovers that women with a wild streak suits him much better than he ever imagined...
Thoughts: Highland laird, Connor Lindsey is looking for a wife who is innocent and one that will comply to all he says. But when he kidnaps Brina Chattan -- she isn't exactly what he was expecting. A wild side that refuses to obey or be tamed.
Highland Hellcat is entertaining. A fascinating read. You can really tell how much research was put into this book. Full of romance and intrigue. Exactly what I hoped for when I seen the title and cover. This was my first time reading anything by Mary Wine, and for me this was an enjoyable read. I really liked Brina. She was such a free spirit and she was exactly what Connor need it. If you love Highlander's... you'll love this one.

MsM,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the title. I didn't realize this was a series.
You're welcome. I think they work fine as stand alones, so I don't think you were missing anything by reading "Highland Hellcat" first.
