Backyard Surprise

These last few days have felt like fall, we've been able to have our windows open. It's been a nice break from all that heat. Of course my cat Rayn is just loving it. He is able to lay in the window to see what is happening in the world. Today I found him starring at this little one...

Hope everyone is having a Happy Labor Day weekend!

  1. For a while there were bunnies in the backyard but sadly someone hit one of them. I haven't seen the baby bunny since.

  3. We had a bunny living in our backyard this summer. He's disappeared now, though. Too bad. They're fun to watch!

  4. I love that cranky set to Rayn's ears. "What's he doing in MY yard??"

  5. Awww, that is so cute!

My other cat, Socks (she's gone to kitty heaven), she used to sit in the window and do this clacking noise while she watched the birds. It was so cool! My Sneakers, she doesn't much care about anything anymore. She's just my little old lady now.

We've had some wonderfully cool weather here too the last couple of days. It's been really nice. Last week was so hot here.

  7. Hi Anna!

LOL, Ryan looks like he's thinking about tangling with that little bunny! Too Cute!!

Our kitty (well, our neighbor's kitty, now living under my shrubs) used to be death on birds and bunnies alike. But, seeing how's he's 19 now, he pretty much leaves everything alone as long as they don't interrupt his naps! LOL

Thanks for sharing a great pic Anna! Have a great weekend!

  8. Rayn is a house cat but, that doesn't mean he likes people in the yard. I have even caught him growling (well his version of growling, I'm not sure he realizes he's a cat) at the neighbor cause he was walking in our yard.
