[Review] - No Mercy

Title: No Mercy
Author: Sherrilyn Kenyon
Series: Dark-Hunter
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: September 7, 2010

Summary: Live fast, fight hard and if you have to die then take as many of your enemies with you as you can. That is the Amazon credo and it was one Samia lived and died by. Now in contemporary New Orleans, the immortal Amazon warrior is about to learn that there’s a worse evil coming to slaughter mankind than she’s ever faced before.

Shapeshifter Dev Peltier has stood guard at the front of Sanctuary for almost two hundred years and in that time, he’s seen it all. Or so he thought. Now their enemies have discovered a new source of power- one that makes a mockery of anything faced to date.

The war is on and Dev and Sam are guarding ground zero. But in order to win, they will have to break the most cardinal of all rules and pray it doesn’t unravel the universe as we know it.

Thoughts: Sanctuary is as much a character in this series as any of the Dark-Hunters are. You can't think of Sanctuary without thinking of Dev Peltier he is a constant at the door, keeping the trouble out and taking no shit from anyone. Since the passing of his parents Dev started thinking maybe it's time for him to move on. But then Dark-Hunter Samia rolls up on her motorcycle leaving him speechless, well almost. He decides he might stay after all, good thing too cause all hell is about to break loose.

For all who are familiar with my blog you won't be surprised to hear that I loved this book. I thought it was a fantastic read. Hard to believe, but it's even better than the last book.

No Mercy
is an intense, exciting read. The action and hot romance had me turning the page. Dev is a character that is familiar to the fans, but we don't really know much about him. In this book we get back story in abundance and it makes you love Dev even more. For the most part Sam is new to us and she too is an incredible character. She does have her flaws but interesting all the same. She is the perfect match for Dev. Both of them are always ready for a fight. Haven't tried this series yet? I would recommended giving it a try. This is a world not to be missed.

Score: 5 Stars
