Beautiful display . . . sometimes I am sure I buy a book because I really love the covers. Sometimes I am a little peeved because the publisher allowed a really good book to have a cheesy cover. And, as I heard from one author, she loved the cover that no one else liked. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder . . ."
Your definitely right. I love cover art. But there have been many books where I have loved the cover and hated what was inside. On some covers I think they need to get more input from the author.
Ooh, I really liked some of those covers, especially the ones for All That Bleeds (deliciously creepy) and Spellbound (which, while not striking exactly, intrigued me with the sword).
