Thoughts: Set during the turn of the 19th century. Tells the story of Le Cirque de Reves & the competition that is going on between magicians Celia & Marco.  They have been bound and groomed by their instructors to compete in "the game" against each other.

I loved every bit of this story. A wondrous tale. The Night Circus will enchant you with it's richly dark world of mystery and magic.  The intricacy of this story was amazing. From page one I was sucked into Celia & Marco's world. While their instructors probably wished they were great enemies, Celia and Marco felt nothing but respect and love for one other.  I was shocked and excited how much I enjoyed this story. It's definitely one of my favorite books I've read this year. Erin Morgenstern's debut novel is a must read.
