In My Mailbox [150]

In My Mailbox is a feature that was started over at The Story Siren. Each week we share what arrived in our mailboxes, bought or found in swaps or at the library.

This was a slow week, but I did get a couple books for my Kindle.

Bought:
Spell Bound- Rachel Hawkins

Free Books:
The Mistress of Trevelyan- Jennifer St. Giles

Sadly this one is no longer free, but can be purchased here.

What did you get this week?
Feel free to leave your IMM link in the comments.

  1. I love the freebies that Amazon offers every week. Great pick. I also bought the whole Hex Hall Series in Hardcover this week. Come visit me as well.

  2. *sigh* I only wish that either every book offered up for free was offered on all sites (ie, Amazon + BN) OR that Amazon would wise up and make their e-books compatiable with other devices (like the NOOK). As long as they are getting the money for the book (obviously, I am referring to books that you can buy, not just the freebies), what does it matter if I put it on my NOOK or your own Kindle device?!

Okay, sorry, rant over, but I've missed a lot of great books (both freebies and ebooks on sale) that Kindle has offered (and BN hasn't) because I can't read the ebook, unless I want to spend hours at my computer.

Both books look good--I might have to check them out sometime. :)

    Enjoy,

  5. I've "collected" the Hex Hall series so when I do get to them, I can read them back-to-back! I've heard great things about this series :-)

  6. I have the entire Hex Hall series. They're such great books. When you finish Spell Bound, keep a box of tissues nearby. The nostalgia and the end of a series alone are enough to make you cry. XD Great haul.
