Waiting On Wednesday [42] - Deadlocked

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly post started by Breaking the Spine. A feature showcasing upcoming releases that are eagerly anticipated.

Deadlocked is my must buy and read for May, I love this series. This is the second to last book to the series. I'm gonna be sad to see it all come to an end. But I know Ms. Harris has some interesting projects in the works and I'm really looking forward to checking them out.

Title: Deadlocked
Series: Sookie Stackhouse
Release Date: May 1, 2012

Book Description:
With Felipe de Castro, the Vampire King of Louisiana (and Arkansas and Nevada), in town, it’s the worst possible time for a body to show up in Eric Northman’s front yard—especially the body of a woman whose blood he just drank.

Now, it’s up to Sookie and Bill, the official Area Five investigator, to solve the murder. Sookie thinks that, at least this time, the dead girl’s fate has nothing to do with her. But she is wrong. She has an enemy, one far more devious than she would ever suspect, who’s out to make Sookie’s world come crashing down.

  1. I still have to read the 11th novel, but I think I'll wait until the series is finished and will then read them? *sigh* I'm really curious!

  3. True Blood isn't exactly my favorite series ever. I have to admit, I haven't read the books yet. But the TV series...not a big fan. Oh well, guess I'll have to check out the books regardless to see what the fuss is all about!

    Check out my WOW post.

  7. I've only read the first seven books in this series. I need to get back into these books, but I have so many to read. I also love TrueBlood, but haven't seen season 4 yet because I have to wait for the dvds.

But I'll have more incentive to read them soon, because next Thursday I'm going to one of her three Florida book signings! I'm so excited. We don't get many authors down here.
