  7. @Laura, I'm the author of Crimson Groves and the story behind the bleeding orange is simply that I grew up on a 92-acre farm/orange grove. So my protagonist in CG resides in a neighborhood named "The Groves" of which is where she is turned into a vampire against her will. I originally wanted a bleeding orange tree (with blood dripping off the leaves and oranges) but my graphic designer came up with the singular bleeding orange with blossom and I LOVED it :-)
