Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each Tuesday features a different topic and you post your top ten list related to the topic.
This weeks topic is: Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR List
1. Serpent's Kiss- Melissa De La Cruz (June 12th)Book #2 in the Beauchamp Family/Witches of East End series. If your not familiar with Ms. De La Cruz, her Witches of East End stories are a spin off from her Blue Bloods series. I adored the first book, Witches of East End and I'm eager to dive back into their world.
2. Blood Moon- Alyxandra Harvey (June 19th)
Book #5 in the Drake Chronicles. I love this series. They are fairly short books, but pretty addicting. One of the things that I love about this series is that you get more then one character POV for each book.
3. Thirteen- Kelley Armstrong (July 24th)
Book #13 in the Women of the Otherworld. This is one of my favorite series and it seems that this one will be the last one. Pretty bummed about that. I do hope she goes back to the series at some point. I would love to see more of Jeremy and Jaime.
4. Beneath A Rising Moon- Keri Arthur (July 31st)
Book #1 in the Ripple Creek Werewolf series. This one was originally published in 2003 and it's finally being re-issued here in the U.S. By the time I got around to wanting to read this one, it was out of print - so I'm excited it's gonna be available again.
5. Time Untime- Sherrilyn Kenyon (August 2nd)
Book #22 in the Dark Hunter series, but also the beginning of Kenyon's new series called Hellchasers. I'm a big Kenyon fan, so I can't wait to read this one.
6. Nevermore- James Patterson (August 6th)
Book #8 in the Maximum Ride series, the last one as well. A wonderful series, I'm excited to see how this one will end.
7. Girl of Nightmares- Kendare Blake (August 7th)
Book #2 in the Anna Dressed in Blood series. I love Anna Dressed in Blood and can't wait to read book two.
8. Blood Fever- Veronica Wolff (August 7th)
Book #3 in The Watchers series. When I picked up the first book, Isle of Night I wasn't sure I was gonna like, but it ended up really enjoying it.
9. The Second Empress- Michelle Moran (August 14th)
Moran's last release Madame Tussaud was such a wonderful book. She's sticking with France and this new one takes place in Napoleon's Court. Sounds quite interesting.
10. The Rise of Nine- Pittacus Lore (August 21st)
Book #3 in the Lorien Legacies. So far I've loved each book in this series and I'm quite curious to read more about these characters. For me, each book leaves me wanting more.
Ooh so many books on this list that I want to read also - like Thirteen! Hope you get to all these books and enjoy them all :-)

Such a great idea...top ten books on the summer TBR pile. I think I'll put one together too. I know Miss Stackhouse will be in my list. Hope you get to all of them this summer.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I wanted Girl of Nightmares on my list, but for some odd reason I thought it came out in October o.O but I definitely can't wait for it! Here's mine: http://whatsontheshelf.wordpress.com/2012/06/19/top-ten-tuesay-16/
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed The Witches of East End...moreso than the latter Blue Bloods novels. I might check out the sequel.
ReplyDeleteHow did I forget about Time Untime? I love me some Dark-Hunters! Great list!
