[ARC Review] - Pride & Pyramids by Amanda Grange & Jacqueline Webb

Title: Pride & Pyramids: Mr Darcy In Egypt
Author: Amanda Grange & Jacqueline Webb
Genre: Romance/Historical Fiction
Release Date: July 1, 2012

I received this book from Sourcebooks, in exchange for an honest review.

Summary:  THE PLEASING AND PROPER DARCY FAMILY VISITS THE LAND OF THE PHAROHS.

Pulled into the craze of Egyptology, the Darcys and their lively children embark on an expedition to find a hidden tomb and uncover its treasure. Not only are immeasurable riches awaiting them in the exotic land of the Sphinx, but also danger and betrayal and the chance to lay an ancient grudge to rest...

Thoughts: Pride & Pyramids is a sequel to Pride & Prejudice. Darcy & Elizabeth have been together for 15 years now and have 6 children. Their love is as strong as it ever was. Along with their cousin Edward the family heads out on an expedition to Egypt to seek out mysteries and hidden tombs.

I loved this latest Pride & Prejudice story. It was intriguing with an exciting twist/setting to add to the life of these characters. The Darcy's are always fun to read about. For me Amanda Grange is the next best thing to Jane Austen, she brings Ms Austen's characters to life beautifully and it never gets old. Pride & Pyramids is a fast, excellent read. Full of love, mystery and adventure.
