[Review] - Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight by Grace Burrowes

Title: Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight
Author: Grace Burrowes
Series: The Duke's Daughters
Genre: Historical Romance
Release Date: October 1, 2012

I received this book from Sourcebooks, in exchange for an honest review.

Summary:  'Tis the Season for Scandal...

Years ago Lady Louisa Windham acted rashly on a dare from her brother, and that indiscretion is about to come to light. She knows her reputation will never survive exposure. Just as she's nearly overwhelmed by her dilemma, Sir Joseph Carrington offers himself to her as a solution...

But Sir Joseph has secrets as well, and as he and Louisa become entangled with each other, their deceptions begin to close in on them both...

Thoughts: Lady Louisa Windham has a secret that is about to be known. Sir Joseph Carrington being the gentleman, offers to help her. He thinks Lady Louisa  is the perfect Lady for him and his daughters - who are in desperate need of a mother. Sir Joseph has a secret of his own, he just hopes the reveal will not scare Louisa away.

Terrific Christmas read! I loved Louisa and Joseph's story.  Each of Ms. Burrowes books hold secrets to be revealed. The suspense and anticipation always has me on the edge of my seat.  Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight is romantic, fun and heartwarming. A great way to spend the holiday. While set in different times - Grace Burrowes novels are an excellent cure to my Downton Abbey withdrawals.  The Windham daughter's are just a charming as their brothers, this book is a must read.
