This weeks topic is Top Ten Books/Authors I'm Thankful For.
1. Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice
6. The Duke & I by Julia Quinn
7. To Taste Temptation by Elizabeth Hoyt
9. Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead
10. Naked In Death by J.D. Robb
- Thankful for this one because it gave me my love of all things Vampire.
- I will always be thankful to Harry Potter and J.K. Rowing. While I was reading before Harry Potter, It wasn't until after I read the Sorcerer's Stone that my obsession for reading grew. Before it was just something to do, but now reading is a way of life.
- Thankful to Harris for creating some of my favorite characters but mostly I'm thankful for this book for introducing to the awesome genre of Paranormal Romance.
- I read this book at a difficult time in my life, so it helped with healing. But I'm also thankful for it because it brought back my love of YA novels.
6. The Duke & I by Julia Quinn
7. To Taste Temptation by Elizabeth Hoyt
- I'm thankful to these books & authors for teaching me there is more out there than vampires and werewolves. That gentleman and rakes can be just as dangerous and sexy.
9. Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead
- Thankful to both these titles for introducing me to Urban Fantasy.
10. Naked In Death by J.D. Robb
- Thankful to this book.. for proving to me that Romantic Suspense isn't totally boring.
I love Julia Quinn, too! Great list!
ReplyDeleteI really need to pick up The Duke and I.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that there is any list without J.K Rowling. She is a genius and she created one of the best series :)

I completely agree with almost all of these! I love that you mentioned Julia Quinn, Elizabeth Hoyt, and Lisa Kleypas...some of my favorites. Yeah for rakes! And I am with you on Naked in Death showing how much fun romantic suspense can be.
