Ten Top Tuesday: Top Ten Books I'm Thankful For

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each Tuesday features a different topic and you post your top ten list related to the topic.

This weeks topic is Top Ten Books/Authors I'm Thankful For.

1. Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice
  • Thankful for this one because it gave me my love of all things Vampire.
2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling
  • I will always be thankful to Harry Potter and J.K. Rowing. While I was reading before Harry Potter, It wasn't until after I read the Sorcerer's Stone that my obsession for reading grew. Before it was just something to do, but now reading is a way of life.
3. Dead Until Dark  by Charlaine Harris
  • Thankful to Harris for creating some of my favorite characters but mostly I'm thankful for this book for introducing to the awesome genre of Paranormal Romance.
4. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
  • I read this book at a difficult time in my life, so it helped with healing. But I'm also thankful for it because it brought back my love of YA novels.
5. Secrets of a Summer Knight by Lisa Kleypas
6. The Duke & I by Julia Quinn
7. To Taste Temptation by Elizabeth Hoyt
  •  I'm thankful to these books & authors for teaching me there is more out there than vampires and werewolves. That gentleman and rakes can be just as dangerous and sexy.
8. Storm Front by Jim Butcher
9. Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead
  • Thankful to both these titles for introducing me to Urban Fantasy.

10. Naked In Death by J.D. Robb
  •  Thankful to this book.. for proving to me that Romantic Suspense isn't totally boring.
