Review: Lady Eve's Indiscretion by Grace Burrowes

Title: Lady Eve's Indiscretion
Author: Grace Burrowes
Series: The Duke's Daughter #4
Genre: Historical Romance
Release Date: February 5, 2013

I received this book from Sourcebooks, in exchange for an honest review.

Summary:  To gain leverage in his efforts to get custody of his niece, Lucas Denning, newly minted Marquis of Deene, needs an heir, a fat marriage settlement, and a wife of impressive social standing.

Lady Eve Windham‘s bad judgment where men are concerned cost her virtue, her confidence, and—because it also involved a nasty fall from her horse—her love for horses. In a weak moment, Eve is compromised into marriage with the handsome Lord Deene, who asks her to get back on the horse and stake everything on one glorious ride.

Thoughts: Lady Eve, the youngest of the Windham siblings has been out for 5 years and is in need of a husband.  Friend of the family Lucas Denning is in need of a wife.  While Eve and Lucas are good friends, she really isn't his type  - but he is surprised and turned upside down by her passionate kisses.

Delightful read! With each book I know I'm in for a treat. The charming Windham Family never fails in pulling me in to their world. The secrets and their loves are intriguing. Lady Eve's Indiscretion is a great addition to the series. Lucas & Eve share a wonderful friendship and have kissed on several occasions, while eager for more they are for a time reluctant.  I did find them both frustrating at times, but It will also make you love them all the same time.  A stunning story filled with beautiful settings and a sweet romance. Fans of the series will love this one.
