Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Unfinished Series

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each Tuesday features a different topic and you post your top ten list related to the topic.

It is a freebie week, so the topic I decided to go with is: Top Ten Unfinished Series.
... well actually Top Ten Series I'm Behind In. ;)

1. The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini
  • I have been listening to the audio of the last book, Inheritance for a while now. It's not that I don't like it, I've just been distracted by other audios/books. But I'm hoping to finish it soon.
2. Carpathians (Dark) by Christine Feehan
  • I know a lot of readers have issues with this series, but I love it. I'm behind by two books.
3. Paladins of Darkness by Alexis Morgan
  • I really enjoyed the first 4 books, but kinda lost interest after that.
4. Saint-Germain by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro
  • There are currently 26 books in this series. I enjoyed the first two books, Hotel Transylvania & The Palace. I hope to get through the rest of them one day.
5. Mageverse by Angela Knight
  • Love the mixture of King Arthur's court along with vampires and werewolves. Great series. Sadly I still need to read the last four books.
6. Love at Stake by Kerrelyn Sparks
  • Another series I love, and that I'm behind in. I think I'm at book 6, Secret Life of a Vampire.
7. Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine
  • Love this series, but I'm behind in this one too. Book 12 is the next one for me to read.
8. Guild Hunter by Nalini Singh
  •  I know a lot of readers love this series. I loved Singh's Psy/Changeling series... so I thought this one I would love just the same. I've read Angels' Blood and Archangel's Kiss but I just couldn't get into the story or characters.
9. Vampire Empire by Clay Griffith and Susan Griffith
  • I listened to book one - The Greyfrair on audiobook (narrated by James Marsters) and loved it, I just haven't gotten around Books 2 & 3.
10. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin
  • These books are a bit intimidating, but so worth it. I'm on book 3, A Storm of Swords.

  5. Great topic! I made a resolution this year not to start any more series... and so far, I'm not perfect, but I'm trying! You're on a great book in the Song of Ice & Fire series. You're right, they're so worth it!

  6. I could probably list 100 series that fall under this category! I love starting series, but have trouble finishing them. Glad I'm not alone in this.

    Nice TTT!
