Thoughts: Captain Landon Donovan is suddenly pulled out of an Op and sent back to D.C. He soon learns that he now works for DCO- Department of Covert Operations and his new partner is a female. The very hot, Ivy Halliwell.  On their first meeting the attraction for both of them is instant. Landon can't quite figure Ivy out, but he knows there something different about her.

This story is a mix of paranormal and military romance. In the past I haven't had much luck with military romance novels, but this one really grabbed me. Landon & Ivy are quite fascinating and I couldn't wait to see where their story would lead. I thought Angelo and Clayne were also interesting characters. I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series. Ms. Tyler's writing flows beautifully. Her Perfect Mate is filled with danger, adventure and plum full of sexiness. A must read.
