Thoughts: Going into this book - for some reason I thought this was a continuation of Midnight Liaison (which is a good series). But it seems to be a stand alone. Here we have new setting and new characters, very refreshing. Lindsey & Rand are a fantastic pair. He is quite cheeky. I loved the curiosity he has to being in the modern world. Between a Vamp and a Hard Place is a great read. I definitely recommend it, especially if your look for a good vampire story.
