Book Shopping

I stopped in at both Barnes and Noble & Borders today. I hadn't planned on going to Borders but then I got my bucks and a coupon. Here's what I got...

Kiss of Darkness- Jennifer St. Giles
The Better to Hold You- Alisa Sheckley
Curse the Dawn- Karen Chance
The Mage- Jean Johnson
Midnight Cravings- Anthology

I also picked up a few goodies for the April contest, which I'll be
posting soon. :)

There were a few I couldn't find so I had to order them...

Night Rose- Annaliese Evans
Royal Blood- Rona Sharon
Dragonhaven- Robin McKinley

  2. Hi Barbara,

I haven't gotten much reading in this week. So, I need to get a move on. Hope you have a good weekend too.

  3. I'm not too thrilled with Barnes And Noble at least when ordering books online since they aren't packing them properly which leads to potential trashed books. I am looking forward to Nightworld coming out on Tuesday.

Well I hope the weather is better because here it's going to get worse. Five to ten inches what a nightmare but at least I have books to keep me occupied.

  4. Yeah, we are suppose to get snow over the weekend.

I haven't read Nightworld, but I've read the first two books in the Vampire Diaries.

  10. Looks like your trips to the book store were productive! Can't wait to find out more about your April contest.

Michelle went with my aunt to my cousin's school "silent auction". All the proceeds go to my cousin Jamie's elementary school!
They bid and won a basket with 40 books in it - both kid and adult books - plus a gift card to Barnes and Nobles for $25!!!

Michelle can't wait to start reading!!!

  14. Michelle, Yeah I enjoy Jennifer St. Giles' Shadowmen series pretty well. Although I liked the first one more than the second one. If you like wolves you should enjoy this series. :)
