A Little bit of this.... A Little bit of that... [5]

In the Mailbox....

Last week I got:
Highland Rebel- Judith James (ARC) *yay*
Hunting Midnight- Emma Holly
From the Mists of Wolf Creek-Rebecca Brandewyne
Sentinels: Jaguar Nights- Doranna Durgin

Last night I picked up...
Dead and Gone- Charlaine Harris
Burning Alive- Shannon K. Butcher

And where did I find the new Charlaine Harris in the Young Adult Section again, what it is up with that. This is the third time I've found her books at Walmart in the YA Section. They had two copies. I moved the other one over to the other hardcovers where it should be. LOL!

  1. Hey Anna, so looking forward to reading Highland Rebel.

My one year blog anniversary is the end of this month :). I think I'll do something in June.

  2. Hey Anna!!
I am feeling about the Wal-Mart thing!!! It is so easier to get my books from there because that is the one stop place... but agghh when you have to straighten the shelves for them.

    Good haul you have there!!!
Thanks for the heads up on the contests!

  3. Hey, Anna!! Thanks for mentioning Evangeline's giveaway.

I got Highland Rebel, finally, and I'm looking forward to reading it. I'm debating on when to read it because the review won't go up until September. Will you be reading it now or wait?

  4. Hey Anna!

    Thanks for the pimpage girl!

Really? Sookie in the Wal-Mart YA section? Someone doesn't know their romance...

  5. Hi Anna!

OMG!! You even have your list alphabetized, I have mine scratched on a piece of paper inside the black hole that is my purse. How do you stay so organized? Can you come to my house and help me out? I'm being serious here. Really.

You are so funny, moving books around at Wal-Mart, but I know what you mean. It's like they put someone in charge who hasn't picked up a book to read in years. Makes one wonder.....

  6. You picked up some wonderful books to read Anna!

And the Judith James book? Wow that is awesome - I still have "Broken Wing", to read but will get to it.

    Warm Regards
    L

  7. Hi AmyC...
I'm looking forward to reading it too. June is gonna be crazy here. I'm kick off the first contest on the 1st. I'm still waiting to hear from a few authors, but otherwise I got everything ready.

    Cecile...
Walmart is my only source of books. There is no actual bookstore where I live. I do most of my book shopping online. I have learned not to depend on Walmart for books. Sometimes they are good and then sometimes there totally idiots. :D

    Barbara...
    Your welcome!
I really haven't decided when I'll read it. But I was looking at my list of books to come out... I think I'll read it at the end of July and post the review at the end of August.

    VFG,
Yes in the YA section. It really baffles me. When they have the Sookie paperbacks in the normal spot but not this new one.

    Dottie...
If I didn't have the list alphabetized I wouldn't know which way is up. When I first started getting into the these genres I had a tidy list of maybe 10 books after that it started getting out of control. So, it makes me more sane to have them organized. LOL!

Yep I went and see it last night and loved it. But I really had no doubt I would. The only thing it was missing was more Gambit. ;)

  11. Hey Anna... I think we all feel that we should work at Walmart, because they really grate my nerves because there is NO order. Thank goodness for online though and when I make it to the big city...I can go to Borders.

I have a journal that I keep my books in and it is listed by authors and then by series. It is a pet peeve of mine! I know I AM a geek! Its okay. lol!!

  12. I've worked at Walmart before, don't think I'd work there again. LOL!

We have an outside lady come in to put out the new books. The thing is it doesn't always happen on book release day. Which sucks!

  13. Lots of goodies Anna! I so love seeing all that's coming up on your blog too! Adding more to my wishlist!
I'm going through withdrawal not shopping!

  14. Thanks for the mentions on my giveaway! Much appreciated.^_^

The Walmart misguidance is funny yet sad cuz some parent may actually buy the books for their young teen - just because it is in the YA section. Good of you to set them straight.
