This is a prequel to the upcoming book My Soul To Take. A fast read, but a good lead in to the first book. I enjoyed it. I wasn't sure I'd read this series, but reading this novella definitely sparked my interest. I look forward to seeing what's going happen to Kaylee.

Thanks for the review, I've download My Soul To Lose and plan on reading it soon. I think this was a good marketing idea by the publishers: reel in readers who might've otherwise skipped on this new series.
