Reading Chapter One
These pics are all from the Q&A Kendare did after the reading. She answered all sorts of questions about query letters, how long it took to get with a publisher, favorite authors and even questions from her family and childhood friends. Also touched upon was the cover art and the title of book two, which will be called Girl of Nightmares. (2012)
I took the pictures with my cell phone, so sorry for the blurry spots. Click on the graphics to enlarge. You can't see real good in the pictures but cake was served, which was pretty cool. It was the white house from the cover along with the title in dark red icing. A few of us girls were offered books from Kendare. (Thank you!) I picked out Luminous by Dawn Metcalf. All in all I had a wonderful time.
Signed books. I picked up one for myself and a second signed copy. Check back in October for my Halloween giveaway for a chance to win it.
Kendare's signing was hosted by Scout & Morgan Books (website). Although I don't know how many, the store has stock of signed copies of Anna Dressed In Blood available. If you interested in getting your own signed copy, here is the information you'll need.

Ooh, looks like fun! I just picked up my own copy of Anna Dressed in Blood and can't wait to read it. Yay for hearing that there's going to be a sequel!
ReplyDeleteSmiles!

Rain Maiden,
ReplyDeleteWe don't get many signings here, so this was rare and fun.
Thanks Michelle. :)
Lori,
I'm looking forward to start Anna as well. But I have one review book to finish and then it's next on my list. Yeah its sounds like there will be just the two books. I thought it was a trilogy, but I guess not.
Looks like fun times were had. My friend Amanda (On A Book Bender) attended the signing too. I heard there was cake. Mmmmm!
ReplyDeleteYes there was cake. It was quite yummy. :)
